- Responsible for managing artist relations for Native Instruments with a focus on the U.S. urban market
- Develop and maintain endorsement relationships with musicians, producers and DJs across all styles and genres
- Leverage your existing network of high-profile urban artists to create endorsement opportunities for Native Instruments
- Organize and project manage artist interviews, video shootings, and any events where artists are involved
- Coordinate and manage freelance help as required
- Set up artist collaborations for events, promotion, product development and sound design
- Write full-length artist interviews and edit quotes
- Close coordination with product management, marketing and tech support
- Prior experience in artist relations required (musical instrument manufacturer, music software company, record label, booking agency, music journalism, etc.)
- Familiar with the urban music and DJ scenes across a wide range of genres from R&B to Hip Hop and Jazz
- Established artist network or able to make new contacts with A-list artists
- Experience in modern music production techniques and NI product line required, with special emphasis on MASCHINE and TRAKTOR SCRATCH products
- Strong project-management skills and understanding of PR/marketing aspects
- Friendly, professional, and outgoing personality; strong negotiation skills
- Proficient at writing and speaking English
- High level of commitment and motivation
- Some travel required
