Driven by the momentum of strong and continuous countercyclical growth particularly in the American market, Native Instruments is set to further expand its US activities significantly in 2010 and beyond. This includes the establishment of local product design and sound design facilities to utilize local talent and to further strengthen the American perspective within the Berlin-based company. To facilitate this crucial expansion, Native Instruments is currently looking for a Managing Director to head up its US branch. The Managing Director will play an essential role in shaping the activities of Native Instruments in all Americas, and strongly contribute to the global strategy of the company.

- Manage and mentor the team of Native Instruments North America Inc.
- Work closely with the CEO and the Berlin-based headquarters to better accommodate the US market
- Define and implement strategies and measures to expand the company‘s outreach to American customers and prospects
- Lead the US sales and marketing managers and their teams, as well as the local office/HR and finance staff
- Utilize and accommodate internal processes and tools for resource planning, controlling and business analytics
- Personally represent the company and its values in the USA, and protect and strengthen the NI brand
- Coordinate and guide local partners and service providers (tax, legal, logistics etc.)
- Plan and oversee the further expansion of local staff, facilities and infrastructure
- We are looking for a highly energetic, forward-thinking personality with demonstrated leadership skills and relevant experience as Managing Director or in a similar role
- A strong entrepreneurial drive combined with profound sales and marketing expertise is required
- Solid understanding of the MI industry and specifically the producer and DJ markets is required, a strong general affinity for both music and technology is a must
- The position requires a proactive mindset with strong strategical and operational capabilities, as well as excellent team management and motivational skills
