How to Use 3rd-party KONTAKT, INTAKT or KOMPAKT Libraries in KONTAKT
Using any 3rd-party sample libraries powered by the KONTAKT PLAYER 1 or 2, INTAKT or KOMPAKT within KONTAKT 3.5 or later versions
Launch KONTAKT and click on the Libraries tab in the Files browser, then click on "Add Library". A prompt appears where you have to navigate to the appropriate library folder, then press "Choose". The library box will appear in the KONTAKT Libraries browser afterwards. When the product is not yet activated, a small "Activate " button appears in the top-right corner of the library box. When you click on it, SERVICE CENTER is started automatically. Follow the onscreen instructions in order to activate the library on the computer. When the activation is completed, the patches can be loaded in KONTAKT.
Please note that there are currently two KONTAKT versions available:
If you need more flexibility and dedicated editing options, you could purchase the KONTAKT 4 crossgrade:

This crossgrade is available for KOMPAKT, INTAKT or KONTAKT PLAYER customers.

I think I need a new disc , can not load anything . when I tryed to load it says is registered but it wont save .Kontakt 2 wont load ether. I could not uninstal
i need the sample library to kontakt2
I HAVE COLOSSUS AND IT KEEPS SAYING IM NOT REGISTERED BUT I AM IT WILL PLAY THE SAMPLES BUT THE MESSAGE COMES UP NOT REGISTERED WHEN I ATTEMP TO LOAD THE PROGRAMS LIKE BASS PIANOS ETC PLEASE HELP ME....
I am greatly distressed. I have emailed NI twice now with my problem and they have not responded (It's been 4 days) I managed to install Garritan personal orchestra & First call horns and Kontakt player 3.0.5 and they get picked up inside Kontakt player 3 but after re-opening a song in Logic pro 8.0.2 it tells me that I have to activate in order for me to stop using the library in demo mode. The problem with this is that all my stuff is already activated, so I don't know what's going on and NI is silent. I really hope there is a solution. (Mac OS X.5.8)
cannot add library - there is no "add library" button to press!!!
i cannot find an add library button. in kontakt 2 it does not seem to exist... please improve your description with a screeenshot.
