How to set the path to the library since there is no Option menu in AKOUSTIK PIANO?
In AKOUSTIK PIANO the change of the library path is handled slightly different to other sample based Native Instruments products. When you want to put the library to a different location than the default one, just move the Akoustik Piano Library folder there while the program is closed.
Then open AKOUSTIK PIANO. The program will ask you to browse to the location of the library. Browse to the location and press OK.
After that close AKOUSTIK PIANO and re-start it. The library will then appear in the Fast Finder Menu of AKOUSTIK PIANO as usual.
Then open AKOUSTIK PIANO. The program will ask you to browse to the location of the library. Browse to the location and press OK.
After that close AKOUSTIK PIANO and re-start it. The library will then appear in the Fast Finder Menu of AKOUSTIK PIANO as usual.

Guys, following your above instructions, I chose the "Akoustic Piano Library" which includes the samples and which I had just moved to a new external drive. Then I restarted my DAW, but couldn't get the samples to load. the same "choose an new path" prompt came up. What am I doing wrong?
After my usb hard drive ceased to work yesterday, this info and the one for Kontakt and other data in another thread is highly useful. The USB-drive was meant to live very long, but well, I lost all data with it :-( and have to re-install my NI-libraries. Storing them on another hdd is still a good idea, but the external drive (in my case a seagate didn't work very long) should work ;-).
