Compatibility of Native Instruments products with Leopard - Mac OS X 10.5

Most NATIVE INSTRUMENTS software applications and hardware drivers have been updated for the operating system Mac OS X Leopard (10.5).

Minimum Versions required for Mac OS X Leopard compatibility:

  • BANDSTAND 1.03
  • BATTERY 3.04
  • ELEKTRIK PIANO 1.5.0 R4
  • FM8 1.03
  • Guitar Rig 3.0
  • KONTAKT 2.2.4
  • KONTAKT PLAYER 2.2.4
  • Kore 2.0
  • MASSIVE 1.1.3
  • NI USB audio driver (all versions are compatible, the latest version for your device is recommended)
  • PRO-53 3.05
  • REAKTOR 5.1.5
  • TRAKTOR 3.3.0
  • Traktor Pro 1.0
  • Traktor Scratch Pro 1.0
Not compatible are the following - mostly discontinued - products (all versions):
  • ABSYNTH (version 1)
  • ABSYNTH 2
  • ABSYNTH 3
  • B4 (version 1)
  • BATTERY (version 1)
  • BATTERY 2
  • DYNAMO
  • ELEKTRIK PIANO (version 1)

  • INTAKT (including all "powered by INTAKT" third party sample libraries)
  • KOMPAKT (including all "powered by KOMPAKT" third party sample libraries)
  • KONTAKT (version 1)
  • KONTAKT 1.5
  • KORE (version 1)
  • PRO-52
  • REAKTOR (version 1)
  • REAKTOR 2
  • REAKTOR 3
  • REAKTOR 4
  • REAKTOR SESSION
  • SPEKTRAL DELAY
  • TRANSFORMATOR

In general we recommend to update your NATIVE INSTRUMENTS software always to the latest version. This can be done via the Update Manager of SERVICE CENTER or on the Native Instruments website.

Installation problems? If you cannot install your product under Mac OS 10.5, please use the Universal Installer Patch for Mac OS X 10.5. Note for KONTAKT PLAYER 2: Please do not use the universal installer patch, but the one which is labeled "Leopard Installer Patch for KONTAKT PLAYER".

    Okay, so I've been suckered into buying a product that won't run on my version Mac. Your run around Leopard patch won't install. Frustration mounts and I would like to send you back your product and get my money back.
