Compatibility with the Intel Mac platform?
All current Native Instruments applications and hardware drivers are compatible with Intel-based Macs.
The updates are free for registered users of the relevant products and can be downloaded in our Update Manager.
Please note: Some updates require a new serial number! These serial numbers can be requested in the Update Manager from the "What's this" info file located next to each update.

KONTAKT PLAYER customers: Please update to the latest version KONTAKT PLAYER 3. It is available as a free download within SERVICE CENTER Update Manager or as a direct download from our website's Update Manager.
Native Instruments does not recommend, or offer technical support for, using its products within the "Rosetta" environment on Intel-based Macintosh computers.
Users of third-party instruments based on KONTAKT, KOMPAKT or INTAKT technology should check the information in this article.
No Universal Binary updates will be released for older or no longer available versions of NI products, such as ABSYNTH 1/2/3, REAKTOR 3/4, GUITAR RIG 1, REAKTOR SESSSION, FM7, BATTERY 1/2, B4 (Version 1), PRO-5/52, TRAKTOR DJ Studio 1/2.x, INTAKT, KOMPAKT. INTAKT and KOMPAKT users can upgrade to KONTAKT 3.

Obviously these products are not compatible with Intel macs. It would be lovely to have a link to download an update or at least encourage stores to stop selling discontinued software.
I Totaly agree whith that , and also , i think we deserve that kind of information as costomers. If you say itts compatible , it should be , or we might want our money back.
I am not able to install the Spektral Delay 1.6.0 update on my Intel Mac. It crashes before updating and V1.57 doesn't work. Please fix this update for Mac Intels.
I am trying to update my guitar rig 2 with the 2.2 update so that it will be compatible with leopard. Whenever I install the updater, the window disappears before update is finalised. WTF?

I have several products that will no longer be supported now that I am moving to an Intel based Mac. This saddens me greatly - not just because of the lost financial investment, but because as a composer I now have lost several of the virtual synths. I have come to depend on for my compositions.

sehr sehr schade - da Battery 2 (mehr braucht kein Mensch) und FM7 (klingt einfach besser) bis heute, meiner meinung nach, mit die besten Instrumente von NI sind.
It sucks to have to complain about this. I'm sure the NI folks are dedicated programmers who have invested much of themselves in their product line - yet the fact of the matter is that I have never encountered so many problems with music software as I do with NI software instruments. In every instance there are installation failures to work through, even with their installation patches. I'm not sure how they can stay in business with this kind of track record. Every professional I've spoken to about this agrees. If I ran their company, I'd yank all my product off the shelves and re-release updated software that works with Intel Macs if anything, to save myself from the horrible reputation that is spreading throughout the music biz. Once again, this evening I'm needing to install Elektrik Piano and I'm met with installation failures - even after using the Leopard patch. I'm sure the poor guys at NI tech support are plenty sick of having to deal with upset callers. I can always hear it in their voice before we even begin our conversations. Jaded. I'm always friendly, yet I always feel like I'm talking to someone who is as pissed off as I should be.

I thought I was the only one who had this problem, but honestly I am not surprised. I recently purchased the Numark Omni Total Control unit with Traktor LE and stuck using the DEMO:-( - - because the serial number will not activate my software. The link they have where to get the the serial# WRONG no serial. Honestly it is frustrated -- well good luck to all.
